<p>Daytime eats never looked so good. Waterside dining spot Compamigos at Mercia Marina has just launched a new lunch menu with dishes starting as low as £7. With warming, hearty, wholesome dishes like pie and mash and soup and sandwiches, this place is for lunchtime catch ups, working lunches or to warm up after a local walk.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If you&#8217;ve not had the chance to try one of the city&#8217;s most exciting new openings &#8211; here&#8217;s your chance. Pan Asian restaurant Noshi is offering a fabulous 30 per cent off food from its la carte menu between 13 Jan and 28 Feb. Available all day Sun-Thurs and until 4.45pm on a Friday. <p>January meal deals don&#8217;t come more generous than this &#8211; a whopping 50 per cent off main meals from the main menu. That brings the decadent 8oz sirloin steak down to £15 or the sea bass fillet down to £12.50. It’s the least you deserve this dreary January. Available Monday-Friday, from 12 Jan until 12 Feb, but only if you book ahead.</p>

<p>The new Prix Fixe January menu at Hart&#8217;s makes this month a great time to give this relaxed fine dining restaurant a whirl. Created by head chef Lewis Ward, in collaboration with Michelin-starred Aaron Patterson of Hambleton Hall, you can pick a main course of decadent slow cooked beef with wild mushrooms and homemade pasta, or fishcake with crushed potatoes and  purple sprouted broccoli. Mwoah! Two courses cost £22, and three for £29. Available Monday to Thursday throughout January.</p>

Available Mon-Thurs, book in advance to bag the deal. Alas, steaks aren’t part of the deal, but you can tuck into cheap eats with 50 per cent off the likes of roast chicken, roast lamb (pictured) and fish and chips. </p>

From 5-30 January the 2010 Revival rolls back prices to £5 a dish and £6 a cocktail.
