<p>Proper coffee, fabulously fresh fruit spinner ice creams and stacks of outdoorsy toys for children to run wild with, this place is a summer haven just made for stressed-out mums. Open every day during the school holidays, the spinner ice creams are legendary (freshly spun blends of real, frozen fruit with premium vanilla ice cream), the iced coffee is a winner on hot days and the views are spectacular. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep too. Want more? <p>LEGO mad kids? Make a beeline for this summer&#8217;s LEGO takeover at Buxton Brewery&#8217;s Trackside taproom. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the school summer holidays, Brick Corner hosts brick building pop-ups at the brewery&#8217;s on-site taphouse. There&#8217;s a huge beer garden with whopping Peak District views and coffee or tasty tipples to keep grown-ups happy (hey, it&#8217;s the holidays), plus kids eat free with every adult meal purchased (the burgers here are knock-out). Runs until 2 September.</p>

<p>A Muddy Award winner, this Scandi-styled café is a winner if you have tiny tots in tow. Every Tuesday morning, there&#8217;s a Baby Social, when the space transforms to entertain the little ones with easy-on-the-eye soft play, while you enjoy some time to socialise and drink great coffee. If it&#8217;s warm, there&#8217;s also a lovely outdoor area to take your iced coffee outside too.</p>

<p>Perfect for an iced latte and cake catch-up on a sunny day this kid-friendly café has a pretty garden for littlies to wander in. Although, with homemade food this scrummy and drool-worthy cakes, they&#8217;re more likely to be happy sat scoffing at the table.</p>

<p>Combine a Peak District stomp with a relaxing pitstop beside a babbling brook in the garden with a fab-u-lous adventure playground. With climbing frames, swings and an epic slide, it’s a perfect spot for the kids to let off steam while you chill in the garden. There’s the added bonus of pygmy goats, chickens, rabbits and a large pond with Koi, sturgeon &amp; goldfish. There’s even a small beach (and friendly ducks) by the brook. Pitch up on a summer day and it’s like going on holiday but without the hassle. Family-friendly perfection.</p>

<p>This place has the perfect keep-an-eye-on-the-kids set-up, with cool café (serving excellent organic coffee) at the top of the hill that overlooks a vast adventure play area and the forest trails beyond. Sit indoors or outside, relax with their excellent cakes or opt for ice cream on a sunny day. You&#8217;ll have plenty of time to catch up here &#8211; the kids won&#8217;t run out of places to play &#8211; and there are some lovely (easy) walks to add on too. Oh and it&#8217;s pooch-friendly too.</p>

<p>Make a day of it with a bike ride on the Monsal Trail and a pitstop at this family-friendly café with ice cream kiosk and outdoor play area. There&#8217;s a lovely menu, including separate children&#8217;s menu to pick from and while they wait, they can clamber on the wooden play frame.</p>

The vast beer garden provides plenty of space for tots to bomb about and there&#8217;s an impressive adventure play area with curly slide and trampoline. Food-wise, you&#8217;ll be spoilt for choice, with great-tasting, easy-to-love choices to keep everyone happy.</p>

Expect lots of lovely, locally-sourced things to eat, delicious ice creams, and a stunning seasonal menu of iced drinks for summer sipping (from cloudy lemonades to iced mochas and lattes). The outdoor space at this kid-friendly cafés is ideal for littlies, with donkeys to coo over, ride-on tractors and an adventure play area to get stuck into.</p>

With cool, chilled vibes interiors and good coffee, it ticks the boxes for a coffee catch-up.
