<p>The latest list of the UK’s Top 100 Restaurants has been revealed and our local eateries have fared pretty darn well.</p>



<p>Three Derbyshire eateries nabbed spots in the prestigious list, published by the Good Food Guide, while two Nottinghamshire restaurants celebrated top spots. And these aren’t necessarily the usual suspects. If you’re a foodie looking for a new spot to try locally, then tuck into this lot.</p>

<p>Earning an amazing Top 10 spot, this High Peak restaurant, cocktail and wine bar came in at number 9 in the UK. Already a proud recipient of a Michelin Bib Gourmand which recognises quality cuisine at a great price, this place is garnering quite a reputation. With an enticing menu of tempting sharing dishes, this place is anything but run-of-the-mill. Stand-out dishes include Charcoal-roast scallops, Mine on Dripping Toast, and Leeks, Pease Pudding &amp; Stilton. Book while you still can!</p>

<p>A foodie favourite on the Derby restaurant scene for years, it&#8217;s sad timing for this accolade which saw the Japanese restaurant scoop 55th spot on the list. Ebi Sushi has just announced that it will be closing for good on Sat 25 July. So if you want to try out Derby&#8217;s most authentic sushi before then, you&#8217;d better be quick.</p>

<p>Coming in at number 66, this restaurant started life as a pop-up supper club and&nbsp;is now a cosy, family-run neighbourhood gem with home-dining vibes and small tapas-inspired plates made for sharing – although there might be a tussle for the last arancini with aioli! Natural wines flow freely, and it’s the place to be Tues – Sat each week. </p>

<p>Little over a year after opening, this small plates specialist was recognised with a prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand. Now it&#8217;s scooped spot 73 in the Top 100 Restaurants list. Big on locally-sourced food and British and European flavours, chef Dan Coles serves up a food philosophy of simple, honest, and delicious.</p>

<p>A Muddy Awards finalist this year, this authentic, joyful Sicilian restaurant has been on Muddy&#8217;s radar for a while now so it&#8217;s great to see the Good Food Guide recognise it. Coming in at number 92 on the list, it&#8217;s great for veggies and vegans, and is dog-friendly. A sunny little slice of Sicily in the High Peak.</p>
