The <a href="https://nottsderbyshire.muddystilettos.co.uk/awards/winners/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Muddy Award winners</a> brought the sunshine and celebrations to gorgeous gastropub <a href="https://www.horseshoeslonglane.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Horseshoes</a> in Long Lane.

Gladrags were donned, stilettos were strapped on, and the fizz flowed as the local winners of the&nbsp;Muddy Awards 2026 – as voted by&nbsp;you&nbsp;– gathered to celebrate being crowned the ‘best of the best’ in Notts &amp; Derbyshire.

The Muddy Awards are a huge deal and the competition was incredible this year. Are you ready for this? Reaching 11 million people nationally, 20,000 businesses were nominated, and half a million votes were cast nationwide! So, to win a Muddy Award (and one that’s entirely based on the public vote at that) is definitely something to shout about, so it was only right the victors had the opportunity to celebrate in style.

And what style. Muddy took over the pub, dining room, and glorious beer garden to celebrate our brilliant local indie businesses. Corks popped and the prosecco came out and the talented team at The Horseshoes served up trayfuls of seriously moreish canapés.

As guests mingled and made connections, the laid-back mood was set with the dreamy music played by singer-songwriter <a href="https://emilywhitemusic.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Emily White</a>.

After meeting and mingling, it was down to the serious business of toasting! Muddy ed Cathy stepped up to thank everyone, toast our brilliant winners and hand out the shiny gold certificates.
