<p>Fabulous foodie news in Nottingham with a new upscale restaurant set to open this autumn. Japanese and Asian-inspired restaurant <a href="https://kinurestaurant.co.uk/">Kinu </a>has a prime site on Low Pavement in the former Carluccio’s and Tomahawk building. Expect a moody, luxurious interior and a launch planned for October &#8211; watch this space.</p>

<p>And we&#8217;ve had a first glimpse of another pan-Asian high end eatery about to open in Nottingham &#8211; <a href="https://www.noshirestaurants.co.uk/">Noshi. </a>With low lighting and giant koi carp suspended above the bar, it&#8217;s pretty classy. Set to open in October &#8211; watch this space.</p>

<p>Also on the horizon, word has it that sunshiney all-day brunch spot <a href="https://www.instagram.com/lekkeruk/?hl=en-gb">Le</a><a href="https://lekkercafe.co.uk/">kker</a> is opening a third outpost in Nottingham. With cool, buzzy branches in Birmingham and one about to open in Manchester, it looks like it&#8217;ll be a brilliant addition to the city&#8217;s brunch and coffee scene.</p>

<p>Like your pancakes puffy and plump? You&#8217;ll be pleased to hear that pancake café<a href="https://fluffyfluffy.co.uk/"> Fluffy Fluffy</a> is landing in Nottingham soon. There&#8217;s already a branch in Alfreton at the Designer Outlet and the American soufflé pancakes are legendary. Healthier fast food on the way &#8211; again in Nottingham &#8211; with news that healthy-eating chain <a href="https://tosseduk.com/">Tossed</a> will open its first venue outside the capital in the city.</p>

<p>Muddy&#8217;s loving brilliant new bar and craft distillery<a href="https://www.spiritrun.co.uk/"> The Spirit Run</a> in the fabulously refurbished Market Hall in Derby. It&#8217;s open Thurs to Sun with live music, DJs and special events (Muddy&#8217;s looking forward to the Pilates-inspired Barre to Bar workout and brunch event run by the brilliant <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DNc7c3wCrjl/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1">Erin</a> on Sat 30 Aug).</p>



<p>Look out for the latest addition to West Bridgford&#8217;s buzzing bar scene. Work is underway to create a warm, welcoming wine bar called <a href="https://www.dishcult.com/restaurant/melomelo">Melo Melo</a> in Stratford Road.</p>



<p>Also in Nottingham, cocktail bar <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ronin.nottingham/">Ronin</a> looks set to open later this year in Hockley offering a &#8216;Japanese-Caribbean fusion of cocktails, culture, vibes&#8217;.</p>
