<p>This one’s a sell-out every year, so get in quick with the tickets. G4 are back at Southwell Minster on Tues 28 November and at Derby Cathedral on Fri 15 December. Jonathan, Lewis, Mike and Duncan recreate the musical experiences of their childhoods. Expect to hear classics such as <em>When A Child is Born</em>, <em>Silent Night</em> and <em>All I Want For Christmas</em>, as well as lilting medleys designed to induce goosebumps!</p>

<p>Christmas concerts don&#8217;t come more Christmassy than this. Songstress&nbsp;Leona Lewis graces the stage at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham on Tues 28 November&nbsp;for an evening of&nbsp;atmospheric Christmas Classics. </p>

<p>The Christmas cheer will be flowing (and hopefully the donations to children’s charity Rainbows too) at one of the county’s favourite seasonal performances on Wed 29 November. Choirs and young musicians from local primary schools will join the fabulous Derby Rock Choir to perform festive favourites and prep everyone’s vocal chords for singalongs.</p>

<p>Something more classical? Prepare to be dazzled by the Nottingham Harmonic Choir when they perform Messiah at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham on Sat 2 December. If you have never heard the Messiah before, be prepared for a thrilling, emotional experience. From jubilant choruses to exquisite arias, Messiah is an evocative setting of the biblical account of the birth, life and death of Christ to music.</p>

<p>If it’s magical and memorable you’re after, Cara Dillon’s festive folk experience at Buxton Opera House on Thurs 14 December is the one to book. A far cry from&nbsp;<em>Jingle Bells</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Santa Baby,</em>&nbsp;Cara will be joined by her band who weave celtic and folksy rhythms alongside reverent and atmospheric carols.</p>

They don’t get more goosebump-inducing than the one in the depths of&nbsp;<a href="https://peakcavern.co.uk/christmas-carol-concerts/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Peak Cavern</a>&nbsp;(aka, ahem, ‘The Devil’s Arse’) inCastleton. Mulled wine, mince pies and a brass band add to the festive vibe and tickets book up quickly. Atmospheric it may be, but it’s Arctic in that cavern too, so layer up and bring a blanket. On&nbsp;<strong>every weekend throughout December</strong>&nbsp;until Christmas Eve.</p>

<p>Polish off Christmas with a rousing family concert on Boxing Day morning. If the hangover can stand the brass band pomp, it should be a lovely way to round off the celebrations. The Fairfield (Buxton) Band has been going for over 130 years, and is open to all ages.</p>
