<p>A bunny hop over the Derbyshire border, this brilliant farm-turned-adventure park is at its very best at Easter. The highlight is always the Easter Eggspress tractor and trailer&nbsp;ride up to to&nbsp;Bunny Woods, where kids explore the woodland trail, encountering friendly animal characters along the way. Magically done. On top of that, there are live shows, adorable baby animals and&nbsp;lamb feeding to get stuck into. On from 11-25 April, tickets cost £15.95pp and it&#8217;s a full day out. <p><strong>While you&#8217;re there: </strong>Even older kids will be tempted by Mega Slide Mountain, the UK’s longest outdoor tubing slide. It will be opening up again for the season  during the Easter hols.</p>

<p>Huzzah! Finally, an Easter trail aimed at older teens, not tots. Clumber&#8217;s crazy game of Guess Who for grown-ups, this outdoorsy whodunnit is the perfect plan to tempt teenagers outside. Here’s how the backstory goes: The Newcastle family are enjoying a relaxing holiday in their villa in the south of France and the staff have been left behind to look after the Estate. But things have started to go missing &nbsp;and the staff are all blaming each other. Get sleuthing by following the trail, and solving the riddles and ciphers, before returning to arrest the guilty party and claim an Easter reward. The trail covers around two miles and takes about two hours to complete. Costs £3.50, from 29 March – 21 April. </p>



<p><strong>While you&#8217;re there:</strong> Sling the bikes on the back of the car (or hire some there) &#8211; Clumber is brilliant for cycling.</p>

A stone’s thrown from Chatsworth, there’s plenty of retail therapy if you’re all Eastered-out too, with lifestyle and fashion stores and scrumptious cake and coffee opps at Massarella&#8217;s or&nbsp;Chatsworth Kitchen.</p>

<p>Art workshops exploding with colour, cosmos-inspired light patterns and interactive theatre&nbsp;&#8211; this always-creative gallery is outdoing itself with colourful kids&#8217; workshops this Easter. Midweek, you&#8217;ve got a choice of arty workshops (8 and 9 April), before the interactive <a href="https://www.lakesidearts.org.uk/event/claytime/">Claytime</a> theatre at the weekend (12-13 April) takes on its own world, its own characters and its own stories drawn directly from its young audience. </p>



<p><strong>While you&#8217;re there: </strong>Refuel at <a href="https://nottinghamvenues.com/restaurant/bramleys-restaurant/">Bramleys Restaurant</a> in the nearby Orchard Hotel on the uni campus. It offers a crowd-pleasing &#8216;express lunch&#8217; that should fit the bill.</p>

You’ll get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of farm life on the Chatsworth Estate and hopefully even get to see some live births. This one always sells out, so get booking quick.
