<p>They came, they quaffed, they partied! The Muddy Awards 2024 winners braved the downpours and brought the sunshine vibes to celebrate at beautiful&nbsp;<a href="https://binarybarandrestaurant.co.uk/">Binary Bar &amp; Restaurant</a>&nbsp;in Mickleover.</p>

<p>Gladrags were donned, stilettos were strapped on, and the fizz flowed as the local winners of the Muddy Awards 2024 – as voted by you – gathered to celebrate being crowned the ‘best of the best’ in Notts &amp; Derbyshire.</p>

<p>The Muddy Awards, in partnership with national sponsor&nbsp;Tide, are a huge deal and the competition was incredible this year. Are you ready for this? Reaching over 10 million people nationally in 8 weeks, over 515,000 votes and nominations were cast nationwide! So, to win a Muddy Award (and one that’s entirely based on the public vote at that) is definitely something to shout about, so it was only right the victors had the opportunity to celebrate in style.</p>

<p>And what style. Muddy took over the top floor of the chichi cocktail bar and celebrate our brilliant local indie businesses beneath art deco chandeliers and wisteria. Corks popped and the prosecco came out and the talented team at Binary served up trayfuls of seriously moreish canapés.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-speech">Speech!</h2>



<p>After meeting and mingling, it was down to the serious business of toasting! Muddy ed Cathy stepped up to thank everyone, toast our brilliant winners and hand out the shiny gold certificates. Then it was over to the jaw-dropper of a balloon backdrop, created by the amazing Derby-based&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/bespokeballoonsbymoi/?locale=de&amp;hl=am-et">Bespoke Balloons by Moi</a>. We even had a stunning balloon stiletto!</p>
