The Beefy Boys, Nottingham

Ready for a feast? This cult burger joint dishing up 100% grass-fed Herefordshire beef has landed in Queen Street. Run, don’t walk.

Brace for the burgers! The Beefy Boys has dropped its award-winning menu and cult following on Nottingham, and it looks mighty fine. Housed in a beautifully-restored former Post Office, the Queen Street restaurant combines Victorian architecture with The Beefy Boys’ trademark playful style, complete with colourful graphics and cheeky neon signs.

The Beefy Boys are the very definition of a BBQ that got seriously out of hand. What started as four mates flipping burgers in their back gardens soon turned into something much bigger when they won Grillstock in 2014. That victory earned them a place at the World Burger Championships in Las Vegas, where they stunned even themselves by finishing as runners-up in the world.

Fast forward to today, and The Beefy Boys have grown from a backyard BBQ into one of the UK’s most celebrated burger brands. And these burgers are something else. Feast on their signature American-style dirty burgers, indulgent sides, cocktails, beers and boozy shakes. Everything they serve is made using quality ingredients and a passion for flavour.

A great addition to Nottingham’s foodie scene and a beefy bonus for this summer too: kids eat free throughout the school holidays*.

*Between 3pm and 6.30pm, Mon-Fri, one free kid’s meal with each standard burger purchased.
