<p>When it comes to truffling out the best hidden gems, who better to turn to than a jeweller with an eye for style? After scooping the coveted title of Best Jeweller in both the local <em>and </em>national <a href="https://muddystilettos.co.uk/awards/national-results/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Muddy Awards</a> this year, Rebecca Gibbions, owner of <a href="https://www.lastnightidreamt.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Last Night I Dreamt,</a> has style in spades. </p>

<p>With a dreamy shop on Southwell&#8217;s King Street, brimming with a carefully curated collection of contemporary designer jewellery (magpies will be powerless to resist), we thought Rebecca would be the perfect person to tap up for her favourite Notts and Derbyshire finds. <p>My Little Place on the Hill is my go-to chilled chic boutique hotel on the beautiful island of Kefalonia. I’m tempted to keep it a secret as it’s so special to me! I love to escape here and it features in our holiday plans most years.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-my-favourite-places-to-eat">My favourite places to eat</h2>



<p>The Old Theatre Deli across the road from my shop. The Deli Stack is my favourite breakfast option and one of their iconic dishes. I also love Little Brunette Bakery in Southwell and the bread, cakes and pastry are out of this world. I also can’t write about favourite places to eat without mentioning The Malibu Farm Cafe and Restaurant, as I’ve just flown back from California. Off the scale menu and such a beautiful location on the Malibu Pier.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I am a good shopper and LOVE shopping at small independents. Locally to Southwell, I love shopping at Real Clothing and love their dress offering. I also love The Dressing Room in St Albans who have the most amazing website (and shop I&#8217;d love to visit in St Albans) and also Sass and Edge in Winchester where I visit once a year for a mooch and a shop. I also love Rachel and Sally! I’m also a vintage shopping lover and adore Vintage Vixen in Newark..&nbsp;</p>

<p>I love drinking in the sunshine with the girls, so locally my go to is The Old Vol for cocktails and sushi in Caythorpe near Southwell. In London I love The Nest rooftop bar in the Treehouse hotel in London. It gives me San Francisco vibes. In LA I loved watching the sunset over Santa Monica in the uber cool Elephante bar and restaurant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yosemite. I’ve just been and it blew my mind and lost in the wonder of this magnificent place. I also loved The Big Sur on Highway 1 in California. If you’ve ever watched Big Little Lies this is where it’s filmed. It is so incredibly beautiful. Finally, Kefalonia. I would not be without my yearly Greek Island fix.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Who doesn’t love a spa day with the girls? I love a day trip to Eden Hall in Nottingham which is near Southwell. They have a stunning new outside pool and if the sun is shining and you have a cocktail (or fruit smoothie if you’re on a health kick) in your hand then you feel like you could be on holiday somewhere hot!&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-my-favourite-wild-spaces">My favourite wild spaces</h2>



<p>Yorkshire runs through my veins having grown up in Leeds and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. I love Runswick Bay and all the wild countryside you find in the Dales. Yorkshire has a piece of my heart, as does Yosemite!&nbsp;</p>
