<p>Hunting for those extra special toys and gifts that you can’t just find on the high street? This magical place tucked away in Queen Street in Southwell should up the joy factor. From French brands like Moulin Roty’s to pretty hot air balloon nursery décor and treasured toys that will last a lifetime, this terrific toy shop lives up to its name (and makes me wish I still had tiny tots to shop for).</p>

Beautifully laid out, with oodles of lovely independent brands and traditional toys with contemporary designs, it’s a place to take your time over. After a real one-off? They also embroider personalised gifts in their studio in the heart of Sherwood Forest.</p>

You’ll find traditional, top quality wooden preschool toys like stackers, sorters, peg puzzles and floor puzzles, along with toddler toys for pretend play, first puzzles and wooden trains and tracks. Older kids are well catered for too, with Lottie dolls, Sylvanian Family and a bumper choice of board and card games. Bullseye for ticking off the Christmas shopping for kids of all ages.
