The go-to place for collectors and admirers of vintage Danish furniture, it’s built a solid reputation for quality furniture from the 1940s to modern day. Expect to find the likes of Hans Wegner, Illum Wikkelso, Finn Juhl, Niels Koefoed and more. The website is updated every day so everything you you browse is also available to view in the Nottingham showroom.</p>

<p>This appointment-only design store specialises in 1950s and 1960s furniture (and contemporary art). If you’re a fan of darker woods, you’re in luck as there’s often Danish and British rosewood and teak stocked.</p>

<p>Despite the slightly naff name, there is nothing naff about the fabulous furniture stocked in this independent, family-run store. As well as antiques, you’ll find plenty of mid-century gems -from &nbsp;retro chairs to cool cabinets. Stock comes in on a weekly basis, with plenty of one off, unique pieces from all over the world, so it’s worth a regular visit if you’re hunting for something special.</p>
