The Rhubarb Kitchen started as a labour of love during the 2020 lockdown. From her own tiny kitchen, Lisa began creating and distributing delicious food to people in the community who were unable to leave their homes. And as the saying goes, from tiny kitchens, fantastic businesses do grow, fast forward three years and Lisa has a team of fabulous foodies around her (a much larger kitchen, of course) and offers a bespoke catering service for between 20 and 100 guests.

Whether you’re looking to cater for a private party, wedding, hen do, corporate event or just don’t want to cook while you’re on holiday in the Peak District (yes seriously), the team at The Rhubarb Kitchen have got all your dining needs covered. They appreciate that every customer is different so really take the time to get to know you and understand your needs before curating the perfect menu for your event and trust me, the proof is in the delicious pudding they’ll no doubt be serving you.

What’s more, Lisa really focuses her attention on supporting and using local independent producers and businesses which is a big thumbs up in my book. You might spot Hartington Creamery cheeses on your fresh as they come cheese plate or a double serving of Shining Cliff Gin from another Muddy favourite, White Peak Distillery, in your G&T among many other local indies which help populate the menus.

Lisa and the team are well connected in the community, that combined with a can do attitude, no job is too big or too small ethos, and a real love of creating and sharing delicious food, The Rhubarb Kitchen really take the stress out of event planning – amen to that!
