A collection of three beautifully-converted grain stores and a barn conversion with bags of character, Honies Farm Barns make a great get-away-from-it all haven for families, groups or couples.

With vast open vistas across green fields, the barns are in a remote and peaceful spot, yet are only five miles from well-connected Newark (an easy 1hr14m fast train from London).

The barns have been sympathetically restored – think oak beams, wood burners and lovely big windows. The largest, The Archers, sleeps up to seven in luxe super-king beds. The biggest of the grain store conversions is The Vintage Store which can accommodate up to six, while the smaller two, The Barley and Wheat Stores sleep up to four. That means 21 guests can stay here in total if you fancy booking the whole shebang for a big family bash, group get-together or wedding party.

Dogs are welcomed with open arms here, with three of the properties dog-friendly. They even get their own doggy welcome pack.

Historic Newark, Lincoln, Belvoir Castle and Belton House are all within easy reach, while kid-friendly White Post Farm and Wheelgate Park are also close by. Eden Hall Day Spa is just down the road too. You’re spoilt for choice for walks and cycle rides from the doorstep, plus there are some fabulous village pubs and restaurants to refuel in nearby too.
